I love hosting dinner parties but, I am always in the look out for new easy and simple recipes. So, when I received a copy of  “Tastefully Small Savory Bites” by Kim Hendrickson, I couldn’t wait to put this cookbook to the test.

 Well, needless to say, this book was awesome! I love to entertain guests with tasty snacks and finger foods while I am putting together an actual meal.  This provided so many easy, simple recipes in where my family and friends enjoyed last weekend.

The book itself contains more than fifty recipes and is broken up into chapters, so you can  find the type of recipe you’re looking for.  Choices range from mini crab cheesecakes and fruited jumbo shrimps to bacon biscuits and sausage radicchio tacos, the choices are simply endless. There is even a chapter on  Helpful Tips which provides tips on maintaining your budget,  managing your time, and even on how to calculate the correct amount of Hors d’Oeuvres for your number of guests. The recipes are easy with step-by-step instructions and the photos in the book are vibrant and colorful making every dish appear tasty. Every recipe includes both bite-size and full-size versions and variations so you can choose which way you want to entertain your guests.

So, whether you are entertaining for a cocktail party, dinner or  buffet, Savory Bites is your must- have book and guide to make your event a success. Your guests will love every savory bite, as long as you make it tatsefully small.

Kim Hendrickson is author of the Tastefully Small™ cookbook series, winner of two Florida Publisher’s Association gold medals.
