When you die, did you live your life in where it will outlive you? Is the way you are living right now, make difference for when you are gone? Do you want to make a difference in life, then Max Lucado’s book, Out Live Your Life: You Were Made to Make a Difference, is the book you need to read.

Outlive your Life:You were Made to Make a Difference is a compelling book that explores the ability of changing our busy, self-absorbed lives and look at the lives of those in need. Noting the books of Acts, Lucado cross-references how small acts of generosity and kindness can affect the world around us and make your life have a sense of meaning and purpose. He provides examples such as talking to a homeless person, having people over for dinner or simply by participating in a cause, Lucado basically challenges you to open up and see the world around you, he encourages you to feel the hurt and pain of the world and then to do something about it.

Outlive Your Life is an easy ready and Lucado sites many examples of how you can do very little but still amout to creating change and influencing a life. Lucado also points out on how easy it is to find excuses on reasons why to ignore those in need and why not to help. Thus, the message carried in the book is that, is to truly do God’s work is to simply help others, no matter how small the gesture may be, it still counts.

I recommend this book to anyone that simply wants to reflect on their self-sense of being. It is an easy read and thought-provoking. It will lead you to look at your life in a different way, as well as to look  those around you.
