I recently received a book to review by evangelical Christian author and pastor, Dr. David Jeremiah, entitled What in the World is Going On?: 10 Prophetic Clues You Cannot Afford to Ignore. A book written to point out the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy about how the world is going to reach it’s end.

While this book is well written making it an easy read, it is also research driven. Dr. Jeremiah clearly states historical events, such as the rebirth of Israel (a prophecy already fulfilled in 1948) to current oil crisis and terrorism. He touches on the threat of Islam and how Americans are so naïve in accepting and helping, that we are basically leaving opportunities open for more terrorist attacks.  He also repeatedly encourages belief in Christ to prevent one’s having to endure the time of tribulation upon Jesus return to the earth by, preaching salvation at the end of each of his chapters.

Overall, I find the book to be interesting and thought provoking at most, making me question  own spiritual beliefs. I do recommend this book to anyone interested in prophecies and Biblical predictions.
